Morning Coach B,

Would you recommend the Bulgarian weightlifting method for someone trying to get better at Oly lifting and general strength? I have been doing westside for a while and adding Oly lifting twice a week but I am in the gym for two -three hours after work. Any suggestions?

The Bulgarian lifting method is great for advanced Oly lifters. If you are not an advanced lifter then you will not get the benefit of lifting heavy weights daily. The Bulgarian method of training is definitely my favorite style of training, but it is extremely intense and taxing on the body. With that said, my suggestion would be to give it a shot and see how it goes. That is what lifting is all about...finding what works for you and in order to do so, you have to experiment with programs.
