What is the difference between a power snatch and a snatch. On the WOD posted on 18SEP2012 it says 1 xp ower snatch and 1 x snatch, what is the difference?

the pulls are exactly the same, but the bar is received in an above parallel position for it to be a power snatch.....a full snatch is a snatch!!

When we talk about "above parallel", we are referring to the thighs in relation to the floor. Anything above parallel is a power snatch, and if you go below, it is a snatch.
